(formely known as OEF trails access)

Bluff Creek December 2004

You'll never love a trail more than the one you worked on...

News from our trail work committee

The OEF Trails Operations & Management committee for 2005 consists of:

Terry Tietsort
Pete Singleton (NuDraper trailboss)
Shane Jones (Bluff Creek trailboss)
Chris Parks (Roman Nose trailboss)
Charles Duke (IMBA rep)
Ward Combs (OEF Prez)

These folks are in charge of scheduling trail work (upkeep and new projects) at the OEF maintained trails. If you have any questions or suggestions concerning Bluff Creek, NuDraper, Roman Nose or even Arcadia contact one of them. They will work with the responsible OEF Trail Boss or OEF Contact and report back to you...

Notes from our Jan 10th meeting.

OEF Trailwork Incentive Program:

For 2005 we will once again have our Trailwork Incentive Program in place. Your OEF trailwork hours will be tracked toward end of year prices and special awards. PLEASE THANK Steve Schlegel at The Bicycle Store Too for supporting our trail work program for the last 4 years...

2005 trailwork hours - 586 hours this year - updated 11/19/2005

Additional Information:

In addition there will be several "impromptu" mini-workdays throughout the year, to accommodate hot spots and small special projects that may arise.

If at all possible, "impromptu" workdays will be held on Sunday afternoons, after Religious Services.

In the event of rain, trail workdays will be rescheduled, usually for the following weekend.

Bring gloves, a snack, water and sunscreen... OEF sometimes provides lunch (check first)!

Check out our email list (earthbike egroup) for the latest trail work news.
