Some old ride reports with pics from
Dec 2002 and
Feb 2006. And a report of the
IMBA workday from 2003.
Work on the Keystone trail system has recently been finished and all loops are open, the trails
are starting to pack in. The parkinglot has also been finished and a trail head has been
established. The trail system is being maintained by State Parks & Resorts representatives and mountain bikers from Tulsa and OKC. For details on upcoming workdays or general news check the Earthbike List for updates. Trail signage is being worked.
The KeyStone trail system consists of 4 sections; they all travel in the clockwise
direction from the parkinglot. Go here for a
detailed map. The green section is the beginner loop, the blue section the intermediate loop,
the red loop is 'advanced' and the black section is 'expert'.
Since this trail is developed in a State Park all trail work is coordinated through the Keystone State Park manager. Illegal trail work could lead to closure of the trail system. Please contact the Keystone State Park manager if you have questions.
Enjoy the trail!
