Nudraper trailwork day, Dec 7th 2002

As of Saturday, December 7th, the "Red Loop" at NuDraper is complete. We added the final 1/3 mile of trail, to bring it to fruition. Now when you exit the red loop, you exit out onto the power line trail on the East side of Clavicle Hill. Once beat in, this final third mile will be a fast and dump you out onto the power line trail with plenty of speed to attack Clavicle Hill on your run back to the parking lot. Also, we've opened up a bail-out from the Red Loop onto the power line trail after the playground section, so now you have three options, (1) you can bail-out of the Red Loop before "The Little Dog", (2) you can bail-out after the playground section, or (3) you can ride the entire red loop (which is the best option by far). The weather was great and we had a fantastic crew. Everybody got down to work and it was finished before we knew it. Thanks to Terry Tietsort for flagging an excellent route, and thanks to the following for all their hard work:

Steve "Spidey" Ancik
Tim "Fuzzy" Gritzmaker
James "Blah Blah" Perry
Ron Roquemore
Brent Barton
Lon McComas
Candy Joubert
Neil DeArmond
Shane "Chainsaw" Jones
Mark Richards
Steve Goddard
Walt Brittain
John Richardson
Terry Tietsort
( I know there were a couple of people who didn't sign the workday sheet, so if I didn't get your name in this list, I thank you just as much!)

My personal thanks to each of these individuals and to everyone who has help out at one time or another, in making 2002 an absolute FANTASTIC year in trail work achievements.

Thanks for sticking with my overly aggressive trail work schedule - YOU PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!
