KORS/OEF Workday @ Roman Nose 09/18/04Report by Marcel Slootheer, Pics by Candy Joubert On Saturday 9 people showed up for the OEF trail workday at Roman Nose State Park. The objective was to trim the green stuff back for this weekends 24 Hours Up the Nose and we definitely succeeded in doing just that. After 5 hours of hard work, skipping lunch because we were having so much fun, we practically had the whole 7.5 mile loop finished. The following fine individuals should be thanked for a job well done:
Shane Jones (for also bringing the BIG truck with all our tools) We ended the day with some Mexican food & a few cold ones at Carillo's in Watonga. So the OEF racked up another 45 hours of official trail work bringing the total up to around five thousand six hundred and twenty-seven hours since the creation of the OEF back in the early 90's... So how many hours have you contributed lately? Candy, thank you for your support this weekend.
Marcel
