some notes from this evenings meeting:

1. our proposed schedule of 2005 workdays:

Feb 12 - NuDraper (reroutes) - back up Feb 19

we didn't really discuss work needed at Arcadia.

2. Trail Signage at Bluff Creek: Charles brought an examples of a carsonite sign and stickers that go on them. This type of signage is used at State Parks. Looks sturdy and professional. We proposed that Charles drafts up some email to let us know how many signs and stickers would be needed at Bluff Creek, for approval by board/club. Charles, I found this link on the internet but I'm not sure if this is 'it'...

3. Charles showed documentation of a metal trail map/plate that will be used at Keystone. It's similar to what is used at Clearbay and Roman Nose. We can keep this in mind when we e.g. replace the trail head sign "kiosk" at Bluff Creek.

4. Briefly discussed Stinchcomb. Proposed to check it out whenever the weather allows, sometime soon so we understand what we keep referring to :-)    Found this link on the internet:

5. We discussed the possibility of mechanized trail building again. Roman Nose would be a good place to apply this, requires planning of machine, blade and trained person. And approval by park. Charles and Shane to make it happen. Check with IMBA, etc.

6. Perhaps check with IMBA again on their trail solutions program, to get some new ideas for trail improvements, changes & the mechanized item.

6. Replacement of kiosk at BC. We like to look into replacing the old kiosk with something new. Some prefab metal posts/cross members, with or without roof, easy to take out/move if needed. I'll check the internet for ideas, but we probably need to find this locally.
