06/28/03 Roman Nose ride

Trail Conditions: Very good. The trail recently received a much needed 'hair cut' and just last week another benchcut was constructed. This was our first ride on that new section, an optional bypass around the rockgarden, and the first impressions were good. The new section climbs well, none of the turns are too sharp but concentration is needed to stay on the right line. Going down it is fun as well, but make sure not to lock up the brakes - the dirt is very soft, it needs to be packed down!
Roman Nose is getting better and better...
