OEF Group Ride at Bar-H, St. Jo, TX
November 23rd 2002

WOW!!! That pretty much sums up, in a word, what became of the Bar-H Caravan ride. We had a blast! A group of some 18 riders made the trip across the Red River to ride and play beneath the brilliant blue skies and glorious sunshine (thank goodness for back-up dates). We rode virtually every trail at the Breaks, some even more than once, just because they were so much fun. We even rode the second half of "Devil's Backbone".
For the most part the entire group stayed together the entire day. It was very cool to be at the front of the pack, encounter riders from somewhere else and say "got 15 or 16 riders back" as you went by. The look on their face was priceless. Heck, we even had a rider from Texas ditch his group and ride with us during the later part of the day. Our plan was to ride till around 2pm and then head home, but we were having so much fun, we ended up riding until somewhere around 4pm. By that time we were all getting pretty worn out. I think I can speak for everyone else, "Excellent trails, quality people, and down right GOOD FUN"...
My personal thanks to everyone who joined us on this venture, YOU made it a special trip!!
