11/27/04 - Tom Steed, Snyder, OK

Trails: Tom Steed - Snyder, Oklahoma
Report: Friday evening and a plan was quickly made to ride somewhere the next day. We decided on Tom Steed, normally only reserved for the yearly Tour de Dirt race. We instead checked it out at non-race-pace. After what felt like a week of never ending rain the trail really only needed 2 days to dry out - it was in great shape with only a few wet spots. When we got out of the car the wind was howling and it was only 46 degrees F. but as soon as we 'hit' the trail and turned our backs to the lake the temperature went up and everything was fine. We played around for 3-4 hours, Steve and I took a bunch of pics and a few of us had some good crashes. Fun was had by all...
