12/31/05 OEF New Years Eve Ride

It was a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon for our last ride of the year - "2:30 in the Trees". This year was the 3rd of 4th annual for the event, and was the best-attended...our parking lot at NuDraper was filled to capacity with some overflow onto the side of the road! We milled around the parking lot talking for a while, then finally (after getting the "fast boys" to go out first) headed out onto the trail. The trail was sandy and dusty, but 'twas good. I rode somewhere toward the back of the bunch just in case somebody needed a flat repaired, and our prez was the one in need. Got him going, and then it was "off to the races" trying to catch up with some of the other riders (and/or me trying to drop Ward). A fun time was had by all, as far as I know.
